Simple magnetic drum separators are designed to meet the desired operating conditions, sizes, and dimensions. They feature scrapers and rotating structures containing magnetic blocks. The inner design consists of neodymium or ferrite natural magnets mounted on a shaft, arranged over half of the cylinder. The drive outer drum rotates over the idle inner part, capturing and releasing metals at specific angles.
Thanks to the scrapers, ferrometals in the material are captured with each rotation and released at the end point. These separators are typically adapted to existing conveyor belt systems or discharge chutes.
