Our high-intensity electromagnetic overbelt separators are favored in industrial and recycling applications where automatic removal of unwanted ferrometals from conveyor belts is required. Positioned either perpendicular or parallel to the conveyor belt on continuous production lines, these magnetic separators use their own rotating belt to discharge the ferrometals held by the high-intensity magnetic field at the desired location when the magnetic field ends.
Electromagnetic separators are approximately three times stronger than natural magnetic overbelt separators. They provide flexible suspension distances, minimize the risk of stray ferrometals, and are preferred in applications with dense materials.
