Automatic cleaning over-belt magnetic separators are preferred in industrial applications where the removal of unwanted ferrometals within conveyor belts is required. In conveyor lines with continuous production, these magnetic separators are positioned either perpendicular or parallel on the same plane. The separators discharge ferrometals held in the magnetic field created in the relevant area of the conveyor, to the desired section at the point where the magnetic field ends, as the separator's own belt rotates.
Over-belt natural magnetic separators consist of neodymium and ferrite magnetic blocks, depending on the application area.
